CAIR’s Use of Lawfare and Intimidation 

 

 

 

 

February 8, 2017 – This brief film exposes the origin, purpose, and operational activities of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). It cites examples of almost 150 documented cases of frivolous lawsuits, extortion, intimidation and subversion undertaken by CAIR, all aimed at silencing its critics and advancing its agenda.

CAIR misrepresents itself as a Muslim civil rights organization, but is in reality a seditious and subversive group operating within the United States and Canada as a direct operational extension of the radical Muslim Brotherhood. In the film, CAIR is shown to be an instrumental facet of the radical and violent Jihadist movement, waging war against American and Canadian institutions and constitutional freedoms.

CFNS assists Congress in crucial terrorist bill 

CFNS is proud to be of service to Members of Congress who are working on a crucial bill now in the House. H.R. 5194 would designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO). (introduced in 2014 but never acted on)

The following are examples that have made the headlines since 2012 but it appears every state may have a chapter and at least one state has implied that there are many lawsuits filed per year across the country. Some of the ones below actually came from postings on CAIR’s website.

03/09/2018 –  Massachusetts chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MA) is calling on an American Legion post in that state to deny the use of its facility for an event Sunday featuring an anti-Muslim speaker, Anni Cyrus, and promoted by an Islamophobic hate group.

03/09/2018 –  CAIR Legal Defense Fund of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and CAIR’s Michigan chapter today announced the filing of a lawsuit on behalf of an American Muslim permanent resident, Kamran Majeed, from Michigan who is being prevented from boarding a flight back to his home in the United States from Pakistan. Terrorist Screening Database (“TSDB”)  .

03/08/2018 – filed complaint with the University of Cincinnati against a professor who reportedly harassed a Muslim student based on her religion and ethnicity. Professor terminated.

03/08/2018 – legal action against the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office after it instituted discriminatory limits on who could attend an anti-Muslim training course taught by David Bores who they referred to as anti-Muslim extremist. Although Georgia Muslims live in Barrow County, there is no mosque.

01/17/2018 – sued government on behalf 5 Muslims, challenge to the federal government’s Terrorist Screening Database, alleging it stigmatize its targets without due process

06/25/2017 – UPS Minneapolis sued for allegedly barring Muslim workers from fulfilling their prayer requirements at the UPS warehouse and firing the employees

1/30/2017 – Federal Suit Challenging Constitutionality of Trump’s ‘Muslim Ban’ Executive Order

02/14/2017 – lawsuit settled against Michigan Department of Corrections over inmate denied adequate Ramadan diet

09/29/2016 – lawsuit and DoJ 2015 involvement settled lawsuit from 2012 on Pittsfield Charter Township had to pay nearly 2 million dollars as settlement

04/05/2016 – 2 lawsuits (1 being class action) challenging the FBI’s terrorist watch list

11/30/2015 – Florida gun owner sued for words he spoke about refusing to sell guns to terrorists, judge quashed it

12/08/2014 – lawsuit on behalf of a Muslim congregation called Bensalem Masjid challenging the discriminatory and burdensome zoning system in Bensalem, PA

08/27/2014 – sued with DOJ Against City of St. Anthony over Rejection of Islamic Center

02/21/2012 – lawsuit against Pittsfield Charter Township zoning denial for Muslim education center

Obama, the DoJ, and the FBI have shielded and allowed CAIR to bully, extort, file many unwarranted or useless complaints and do basically what they wanted over the past eight years. Those that went against them soon found that they were in deep trouble financially or through maligning their reputations. They used the amendments to the constitution to advance their cause and have found ways to slink around the truth in order to get their way.

It is time they and all who list their companies under 501(c) but misuse the designation to hide financial matters and escape taxes for political agendas be held to account. Those that have ties to ANY bad actors through either individuals within their organizations, sponsoring or listening to those who would push a radical narrative, and those in the legal profession, DC, or congress who are seen consorting with or working with these groups for years should be investigated.

It’s past time to call these particular groups in the US to account and to declare them exactly what they are – – radical groups who either support or are supported in part or in whole by known terrorist groups especially those already listed as co-conspirators in the Holy Land Foundation trial and those acknowledged in other countries as radical groups.
