The Good Shepherd … I shall not want.

23: 1)The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
It is my studied opinion there is something every Christian needs to be doing each and every day, we need to be praying Psalm 23, every day. Say at such times as you find yourself doing nothing for a couple minutes, but think about it, pray it as written and then by verse agree with God’s word. Until you actually believe it; sounds like a God style of brain washing but it is not. It is something wandering Christians need to believe, it will certainly help with your spiritual revival. The devil and his demons know they will not win but they think they have Christians on the run, but, yes but, perhaps the good shepherd is still trying to get the attention of the wayward flock, the sheep that has gone astray.
Our nation has been fighting a spiritual war as well as going through a national socialist political battle, which has been going on for the past 4 decades plus, just that we have not actually noticed it as it has taken on several different names, mostly liberalism, progressivism, progressive establishment, and civil liberties activists.
As these various entities were growing through the brainwashing of our children in public schools which was taken over by liberal progressive teacher’s unions and associations, publishers of school textbooks and computer software companies. It has been a long process but what we have is a generation plus, of children, (now adults) who are under an evil delusion of a socialist utopia, and liberation, social justice, and ant-Christian ant-American way of life. A generation of Godless activists rebelling against moral values, Godly lifestyles, integrity, good character, patriotism, capitalism and the free market; rebelling against the Constitution and God.
Yet always willing to accept dark money to organize the left’s cabal marches, and really in your face marches. And what has it all accomplished? Well, during the first term of the Trump administration, the hosting political party (Democrat Party), of what has turned out to be Luciferism, Atheism, and Satanism.
Liberalism has been dividing the church as well, but that is the way of Satan, to divide and conquer in order to control mankind. I started using Luciferian Global Socialist Party instead of Democrats as it is more fitting the character of those who deceive us where the end justifies the means.
It is my studied opinion and for nearly four decades of pastorate ministry, Christian counseling, and working in ministry for and of men and boys. And life experiences from both sides of the social spectrum, I was not born a pastor, it took God with a lot resets to get my attention however, after he did get through my delusion of life in a utopia, but without Jesus. Life to be meaningful and content absolutely requires Jesus at the center. The Good Shepherd, and as it is put in one of my commentaries, “The Divine Shepherd supplies every want.” There is a big difference between modern shepherds (Sheep Herders), and the shepherds of Palestine during biblical times, King David was a shepherd boy who understood the bond that grew between the shepherd and his sheep. A union of attachment, tenderness, protection, and dependence.
During the years of counseling one thing I found, not in the text books but through the leadership of the Holy Spirit, (the Good Shepherd at work), that clients who were able to take on the responsibility of a pet, with the help of God, developed that sort of relationship that the shepherd and his flock developed, the therapeutic value was extremely helpful in most situations, it gave the client feeling of being needed, and of course in some situations it taught personal responsibility to the individual and that something totally depended on them alone to provide for all their needs.
When you read the 23rd Psalm, I understand the doubting Tomas’ of liberalism, and they will be the first to say that Jesus does not supply all our needs, I have to work hard to have a paycheck to buy my food and pay my bills. All I can say to them is they do not know Jesus or how he works in our lives. I know that he blesses my table by blessing me with a job, or I know he heals my body by blessing me with great doctors, he blesses me continually all the time at the very point I have the need, sometimes it is a mystery even supernaturally at times; but I do know that all will be revealed one day, when I set and sup with my devine Shepherd.
One of the big obstacles to a real revival is that we have to stop – be still, and let God tell us what to do and stop letting the world analyze the word of God for us; when teaching us and interpreting God’s word for is us the job of the Holy Spirit. Christians must own and confess their sins, (shortcomings), confess them with a true and repentful heart, recognize the absolute fact that we need Jesus in our lives each and every day. Understand, that Jesus, the Good Shepard is seeking sheep that have gone astray and in the process harvest as many unbelievers as possible.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. I cannot imagine a more volatile condition in our nation. Perhaps there has been times of real concern over serious issues, we even fought a civil war, and I am sure the times leading up to the civil war were nearly as bad, and the days of the Jim Crow and KKK racism in the Democrat South, and it was the Southern Democrat South which caused the civil war. Now however, the manufactured hate and divisions that has been wrought by the Democrat Party (Luciferian Global Socialist Party), is the very thing that has crumbled their foundation.
I hate to be the one to tell people who are praying for God to do something; that he is doing something he is at work 24-7, all around us, and he is seeking his wayward sheep who have actually turned their backs on him and followed after the demons and devils of this politically correct world, and are going along to get along, yes going along with the Luciferian lies and corruption.
The real covert operation of the Luciferians actually began in earnest in the 60s, mind you it was a well planned and executed covert operation which grew in the shadows of our bureaucracy. This treasonous vile Luciferian attempt to bring a free constitutional government … a Christian nation down, it has been written into the socialist charter of the United Nations. The reason for the long-term strategy to equalize the United States and the allies is simple; they were the great powers of the world, and controlled manufacturing and the global economy.
The obstacles, however, have been extremely hard to overcome; the United States, like Russia do not just roll-over and go along to get along as in the Cold War. Perhaps, just Perhaps the Cold War show the rest of the world, (especially), the UN that the worlds “super-powers” had a bit of super staying power, and they demonstrated just how much in their political stand-off known as the Cold War, and there was times that it was not quite so ‘cold’.
What are the most dangerous obstacles in the way for to take down the United State the Protestant Christian Faith, Education, national moral values and integrity, patriotism. Comradery, especially in a time of need, disaster, crime, benevolence, oh yes even in this dog eat dog high tech, totally divided, and hate infested condition we are in; there is still hope.
Could it be, that God our shepherd, is allowing this constitutionally free and sovereign Republic of the United States of America to get even worse than it already is before he leads us in a great awakening … a revival of biblical proportions and return God to the center of our lives and the strength of the foundation of our nation?
Again, pray for a great awakening, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, then let the Good Shepherd lead us in the paths of righteousness to do his will. Pray for our patriots, pray for each other, pray for our leaders who are standing firm against the evil powers of the world.
To put it very blunt it is not a battle against flesh and bone, but against the prince of the power of the air, against governments, and against principalities, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. [My paraphrase]. (Eph. 6:12). However, it would be more beneficial for you to read the whole chapter; Ephesians 6. The protection and the power. The love and caring heart of our Lord Jesus, the Good Shepherd, is made relevent and the real truth of the vile bloody war that we are engaged … “Spiritual Warfare”.
