One thing that is giving me fits in this Byzantine/Aleppo/Islamic/Symbolism line of thought is the owl-like thing on the roof. That is because owls are apparently considered to be bad omens for those who follow the ways of Islam. Bob, I also found an article with a photo of a Turkish bath house in Aleppo (Aleppo, AGAIN) that is very similar to Epstein’s building (last photo on https://www.thevintagenews.com/2017/11/01/turkish-women-had-a-legal-right-to-divorce-if-their-husbands-forbade-them-from-going-to-hammams-the-traditional-steam-baths/ ) This investigation is leading to very odd places.
