Re-work Wednesday 15

I cant believe that its Wednesday again, the weeks just seem to be disappearing so fast these days. I guess that’s what happens as you get older. 🙂 Anyway, down to business. This week I picked an image from early 2012, it was taken on the stunning ruins in Old Killcullen, Co. Kildare. Old Killcullen dates  back to the 5th century and sits on a quiet little hill near the town of Killcullen. Little much remains of the church except for some foundations and the Round Tower is only half its original size after been damaged during a battle between Crown forces and local rebels in 1798. There is a nice example of a High Cross as shown and the graveyard is still in use today.

Looking back, the colour shot was not that bad, although the composition was a bit off. At least I know that my eye has…
