CHRISTIANS NEED TO VOTE!
Here in Northern Louisiana, it is a good day to check out your conservative favorite and go vote, it is early voting and, as has been reported, the early vote is used more than the day at the pole. From indications and available data, it is not going to be crowded whenever you get up off your apathy and decide to go the few blocks and vote.
It is of course, you care enough about what is happening here in Louisiana, and in the Nation to make you stop wringing your hands and make your vote count for what you believe. And that word believe, is important, or it seems to be to Louisianans who have a church on every corner, down every lane, and a fish placard firmly attached to the real of most vehicles speeding down the byways of our great state. Are they all driving a used car and it was there when they bought it?, (that only works in Washington D.C.)
One of the great truths we hear on a daily basis is that the government is persecuting the Christians. Of course, they are, and it is the conservative Christian who is allowing it to happen. Some Christians are under the assumption that Christians are not supposed to be involved in politics and the government. that, in my studied opinion is a lie from the pits of hell, perpetrated on the believer, to keep them in a state of apathy sitting on the couch complaining to their Pastors and Deacons, and pew-companions that the nation is going to hell in a handbag. Oh-h-h-h, yes I hear it nearly every Sunday, about how the government has taken God out of everything, prayer out of school, Christ out of Christmas, Jesus out of the public square. Well that is exactly what is happening, and as long as Christians continue to believe the lies of the devil, and not get informed about the candidates, and vote for one that stands firm in their faith, it will continue.
We have some, and are gaining more, politicians who have faith values and we need to support them in their efforts to turn the tide of religious persecution over-running the nation like a tsunami, we need a sea wall of good patriotic Christian conservatives in our State, and on the hill in Washington. Nonetheless, a caution needs to be in place, you must be informed, well informed about your candidate. Just because they run and campaign on a conservative party ticket does not mean they are “conservative”, there are those conservative party candidates that are actually progressives, which is to say they are just like a liberal candidate in most of their ideologies, and political agendas; and are nothing more than wolves in sheep’s clothing. However, if you care about your country, your freedoms, your opportunities, and your children and their children, you do need to vote! Stop whining, and go vote!
