I can’t say that I didn’t see this coming. If Robert Mueller cannot destroy President Donald J. Trump through collusion, he will go after Trump enterprises.
Special counsel Robert Mueller’s months-long witch hunt into allegations the Trump campaign colluded with Russian officials widened Thursday; with Mueller’s office issuing subpoenas to the Trump organization and demanding all records related to ‘Russia.’
According to the New York Times, the special counsel has officially requested all documents related to Russia and Russian nationals; the first time Mueller’s office has directly requested material from the President’s businesses.
“The breadth of the subpoena was not clear, nor was it clear why Mr. Mueller issued it instead of simply asking for the documents from the company, an umbrella organization that oversees Mr. Trump’s business ventures,” writes the Times[…]
