Someone should tell this idiot that the ban on semi-automatic weapons has been tried. and failed to prevent one gangsta bad guy from shooting someone dead. banning a weapon of choice for the bad guy, don’t mean and is proven he won’t be able to get and use one… and to keep trying the same thing expecting different results is the definition of insanity. these women on the view are a liberal joke. and I do not see why conservatives continue to go on their show. that is also a definition of insanity.

Whoopi Goldberg seems to be under the impression that automatic weapons are available to the general public.
During Wednesday’s episode of “The View,” Goldberg pleaded with Republican presidential candidate Rand Paul on gun control and said that she couldn’t understand why “anyone objects to getting rid of automatic weapons.”
Automatic weapons are regulated by the National Firearms Act of 1934 and not available to the general public.
